Exhaust or intake: what does your room need?

SHORT ANSWER

An exhaust fan removes heat, smoke, fumes or moisture from a space. An intake fan brings fresh air in. Most rooms need both, so the air has somewhere to come from and go to. Share the room size and what you want to remove, and we help choose.

Exhaust removes the problem

Use exhaust where the issue is created inside the space, such as cooking smoke, process heat, fumes or humidity.

Intake replaces the air

Air removed from a room must be replaced. Without a way for fresh air to enter, an exhaust fan can work poorly. Intake provides that fresh air.

Details that help us advise

Room length, width and height, how the space is used, whether it is air-conditioned, existing openings or ducts, and any noise limits.

Not sure which applies to you?

Describe your space or equipment. We help select the right product and can handle installation end to end.
